Pretty in Pink (and black)

Despite the weather threatening to rain us out, some unbelievably difficult dirt roads, and "restricted access" to where we wanted to go, Ainslie did a beautiful job!

I was pretty excited for the original location, a cliff side lookout via a dirt road that I had bush walked on a shoot last year, but unfortunately it ended up being too difficult to get to due to the terrible conditions of the road! Without a 4x4 I don't know how any one would get to the cliff edge otherwise! So our plans changed pretty quickly, especially as a storm was threatening to cancel the afternoon all together. We drove to a location close by, another lookout. However, again we seemed to be stopped by a whole bunch of barriers blocking the way! Luckily we managed to find another path down into the valley and along a stream. All though there were no cliffs in sight, we managed to get some great shots!

Something new for this shoot was shooting with the floral headpiece, handmade by Sarah and Ainslie. This proved to be super fun by adding another element to the photos.

All the locations we came across were pretty cool, the field of flowers was definitely my favourite. The colours of the white complemented Ainslie's gorgeous formal dress so nicely and provided some lovely depth of field in the photos.

Until next time!
