The Impromptu Marathon Shoot Part II

After shooting at the Katoomba Art Walk Sophie and I drove to a small park, and with a change of outfit shot against a simple green bush. I found the lighting to be really lovely and (for the hundredth time) we attempted to take some ‘hair flick’ and movement shots.

Sophie and I have been trying for years to get the perfect hair flip or spin shot and although there have been some pretty good ones, we still have a go each shoot. These type of shots have always been pretty hard to capture as you to take literally 100 pictures to get three or four that are in focus, with the hair and dress moving just right and the model looking in the right direction. We were pretty happy with these ones, however I think the hunt continues for that ultimate photo.

To continue the marathon shoot we started driving to one of my favourite lookouts, stopping along the way to check out a small park. Sophie changed into her stunning red formal dress, which contrasted beautifully against the natural tones. With the setting sun we continued to a totally out of place field nearby to catch golden hour.

~Until next time!~
